The Emirates Environmental Group honored leaders in Corporate Social Responsibility in the Arab world on October 26th 2009 in a glittering ceremony that took place at the Raffles hotel, Dubai. With 57 companies from the GCC, Levant and Northern Africa competing for the Arabia CSR Award, the evening was truly a celebration of Arab leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility. 

Winners of the Arabia CSR Awards 2009 were:

Jumeirah Emirates Towers in the large category,

Abraaj Capital in the medium category and

Global Village in the small category.

1^st Runners up for the three categories were:

Dubai Customs ( Large)

Six Senses Zighy Bay (Medium)

Mohammed bin Rashid Establisment for Small and Medium Enterprise Development (Small)

^2nd Runners up for the three categories were:

Dubai Properties Group (Large)

Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Medium)

Salam Bunian (Small)
